PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of synchronizing two parts of a digital service in a system including a digital service source device and at least one data reproduction device.SOLUTION: A data reproduction device has: receiving means for receiving data forming at least a part of a digital service originating from a digital service source device; processing means for processing at least some of the data received; reproducing means for reproducing an output of at least a part of the digital service. Here, the time spent for processing and reproducing the data generates delay in the output of the reproduced data. The data reproduction device also has communication means for informing the source device of the amount of delay generated.
