PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely manage an execution state of a prescribed test or training by a user, of a measurement device.SOLUTION: A measurement device 1 measuring a prescribed substance contained in a sample comprises: a detector 11 that detects a signal based on the prescribed substance contained in the sample; and a first controller 15 that controls an operation of the detector 11. The first controller 15 drives the detector 11 and makes it to detect a signal based on the prescribed substance contained in the sample, executes measurement operation for calculating a concentration of the prescribed substance contained in the sample on the basis of the detected signal, and executes a test mode for the measurement operation. The first controller 15 further executes a prescribed mode that prohibits execution of the measurement operation and permits the measurement operation only when the test mode is executed.
