<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for power converter capable of reducing the number of times of switching.SOLUTION: When it is predicted that a variation rate of a carrier C1 with respect to time is negative at first prediction timing t1 before first update timing t2 at which a voltage command V* is updated from the carrier C1's first value V1 equal to or larger than the peak value Vc1 of the carrier C1 to an intermediate value between the peak value Vc1 and the bottom value Vc2 of the carrier C1, at a time point at which a value of the carrier C1 first becomes the intermediate value after the first update timing t2; (i) a carrier generation unit generates the carrier C1 so that the variation rate of the carrier C1 is positive at a time point at which a value of a carrier C11 first becomes the intermediate value after the first update timing t2, by changing a carrier cycle in some periods after the first prediction timing t1, and (ii) a voltage command generation unit determines the voltage command V* so that magnitude relation between the voltage command V* and the carrier C11 is kept in a period in which the carrier cycle is changed.</p> |
