HANDWRITING INPUT DEVICE AND HANDWRITING INPUT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand writing input device and a handwriting input method capable of improving user friendliness.SOLUTION: The handwriting input device has a display plane capable of handwriting input. When a user makes a touch operation with a pen or finger etc., a piece of positional information of the touch operation made on the display plane is acquired. The handwriting input device includes: a file display section that displays one or plural pages constituting one file on the display plane; a character conversion section that converts handwriting characters which are input in the one or plural pages displayed by the file display section into a character data; and a storage that stores each of the character data converted by the character conversion section and the handwriting characters which are input in a handwriting manner in association with the file.
