PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide use of human cells originated from myeloid leukemia for antibody expression.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method for producing a protein molecule composition having a predetermined glycosylation pattern, which method comprises the steps of: (a) introducing into a host cell being an immortalized human blood cell at least one nucleic acid encoding at least a part of the protein; (b) culturing the host cell under conditions that allow production of the protein molecule composition; and (c) isolating the protein molecule composition. The invention provides a novel expression system of a human immortalized blood cell line, in particular, of a cell line of myeloid leukemia origin. Since use of immortalized human blood cells results in a glycosylation profile different from known other human cell lines derived from other tissues such as kidney or retina, use of the immortalized human blood cell is advantageous compared to the other systems known in the prior art. |
