A door-frame comprises a wooden frame member 1 for mounting in a wall and having in its surface away from the wall vertical grooves 5 in which a resilient stop 7 is mounted. A resilient sealing strip may also be pressed into a groove 5. The stop 7 may be of U-shaped cross-section or as shown in Fig. 2. It may, however, be made of sheet material bent twice at an obtuse angle and once at a right angle to produce an inclined surface projecting from the frame member and a surface parallel to it. The sealing strip may be of b-shaped cross-section, a projecting flange thereof being pressed with a mounting means into a groove for it to abut against a stop. |
