A tubular elastic compression bandage, of rib fabric construction, incorporating three different types of yarns. These yarns are cotton yarn (1), spandex polyurethane elastic yarn (2) and mul tifilament polyester yarn (3). As the knitting machine rotates anticlockwise the yarns are fed into the machine in the follow ing order: cotton yarn (1) via a yarn feeder, then spandex polyurethane elastic yarn (2) via an inlay tube, then multifilament polyester yarn (3) via a yarn feeder. The sequence an manner in which the three different types of yarns are fed into the knitting ma chine results in the bandage having the qualities desired, which is an improved comfort factor. Figure 1 is a magnified view, in diagrammatic form, of the bandages' physical construction. Figure 2 is the fabric knit notation, as used by textile manufacturers, which shows how the fab ric is formed by the yarn feeders, knitting needles and yarn inlay feeders. 1. Cotton Yarn 2.
