FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of forestry and can be used in planting seedlings of trees and shrubs with a closed root system. The method is carried out by the timber harvesting machine consisting of a self-propelled chassis equipped with a cargo platform with a manipulator equipped with a gripper, and a planting device. The method comprises moving the timber harvesting machine in the felling area, forming the planting hole and placing the planting material in it through the planting device. Prior to movement of the timber harvesting machine in the felling area, on the self-propelled chassis a set of cassettes is formed, each of which combines several planting devices. After planting the planting material from one cassette, using the manipulator it is placed on the self-propelled chassis or on the ground. Then another cassette is taken, and the cycle is repeated.EFFECT: invention enables to improve performance, to reduce energy costs and negative impact on soil at carrying out works on planting the planting material, as well as to reduce the time to prepare for this works.2 dwg |
