PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode active material, a positive electrode and a lithium battery including the positive electrode active material, and a method of manufacturing the positive electrode active material.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material, a positive electrode and a lithium battery including the positive electrode active material, and a method of manufacturing the positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material includes a positive electrode active material core capable of absorbing and desorbing lithium ions, and a coating layer formed on the core and including a ceramic composite represented by chemical formula: LiLaZrMO. By including the positive electrode active material, life characteristics of the lithium battery can be improved. In the chemical formula, M comprises one or more elements selected from among aluminum (Al), titanium (Ti), scandium (Sc), vanadium (V), yttrium (Y), niobium (Nb), hafnium (Hf), tantalum (Ta), silicon (Si), gallium (Ga), and germanium (Ge), and -1≤a≤1, 0≤b≤2, 0≤c≤2, 0<d≤2 and 0≤e≤1 are satisfied. |
