Provided is a plain bearing that is less susceptible to galling and also has an oil groove in the inner circumferential surface thereof. A cylindrical main bearing (2) that is formed by combining an upper bearing placed on the upper side and a lower bearing (20) placed on the lower side, and that rotatably supports a crank journal (1a) with an oil film formed between the crank journal (1a) and the main bearing (2), wherein the lower bearing (20) includes, among the inner circumferential surface of the lower bearing (20), an oil groove (23) formed in a low-load region (L) that is set in a range where the pressure from the oil film is low. |
