PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the stator of a dynamoelectric machine capable of ensuring excellent insulation performance, by preventing occurrence of poor insulation of a stator winding at the time of twist processing or under high temperature environment.SOLUTION: A stator 2 includes an annular stator core 22 having a plurality of slots 25 in the circumferential direction, and a stator winding 21 wound around a stator core 22 by mutually bonding the terminals at the skew part 23e of a plurality of conductor segments 23 having the skew part 23e formed by twisting the open end inserted into the slot 25 and extended axially outward therefrom. The conductor segment 23 has a conductor 23j, an insulation coating 23k of two-layer structure consisting of an insulation layer 231k covering the outer peripheral surface of conductor 23j, and a protective layer 232k. The protective layer 232k is formed of a material having a Young's modulus equal to or larger than that of the insulation layer 231k at normal temperature, but lower than that of the insulation layer 231k under high temperature environment. |
