Provided are an operation input device (touch panel) capable of improving operability and an air-conditioning device using same. A touch panel (1) includes the following: a touch pad (10) serving as an operation detection unit that detects performed operations and that has a first operation region (103) and a second operation region (104), to which similar types of functions are allocated, from among the functions executed by a device to be controlled; and a control unit (16) that specifies, as a primary operation region, either the first operation region (103) or the second operation region (104) the operation of which is detected by the touch pad (10), and specifies the other operation region as a subordinate operation region, and also outputs to the device to be controlled control information (S5) for performing control so as to align the state of a function allocated to the subordinate region with the state of a function allocated to the primary region. |
