RADIO RESOURCE ALLOCATION METHODS USING OVERHEARING AND INTER-CELL COMMUNICATION
摘要
A radio resource allocation method, for use in a cellular wireless communication system with a plurality of base stations configured to share sub-band allocations amongst a plurality of user equipments of the system and comprising a first base station providing a first cell and a second base station providing a second ceil, in which method the first base station carries out the process of: receiving in-cell uplink control information from one or more user equipments served by the first cell and overhearing uplink control information transmitted from one or more user equipments served by the second cell to the second base station; assigning a sub-band allocation taking the in- cell uplink control information and overheard uplink control information into account; receiving an alert from the second base station as to a particular user equipment sub- band allocation in the second cell with which first base station transmission is interfering; using the overheard uplink control information and in-cell uplink control information and alert to adjust the sub-band allocation in the first base station cell.
