A suspension tower (10) comprises: a top plate (14) to which the upper end side of a front suspension is secured at a securing section disposed at a distance from a stroke shaft (SA) of the suspension; and a gradual-change rib (20T) that rises from the top plate (14) and extends from the stroke shaft (SA) side to the outer periphery side of the top plate (14). The gradual-change rib (20T) comprises: a fixed-position section (20Ts) having a constant height from the securing section; and a gradual-change section (20Tc) having a height, from the securing section, which gradually decreases from the fixed-position section (20Ts) to the outer periphery side. A boundary (20Tb) between the fixed-position section (20Ts) and the gradual-change section (20Tc) is disposed so as to neighbor the securing section. |
