<p>Provided is a reactor for producing a solar energy thermochemical hydrogen, which comprises: a main body including an inner space for accommodating solar radiation energy therein, an inlet for introducing working fluid into the inner space, formed on one side thereof, and an outlet to which the working fluid heated by the solar radiation energy is discharged from an inner space, formed on the other side thereof; and a carrier which is provided in the inner space and coated with a metal oxide on the surface thereof, and generates hydrogen using the solar radiation energy. The carrier includes: a first carrier arranged in a central portion where the solar radiation energy is concentrated; and a second carrier which is arranged along the periphery of the first carrier and is made up of a material with higher thermal conductivity than that of the first carrier. Therefore, an active reaction across the entire area of the carrier can be induced by allowing heat to be transmitted to the central portion where the solar rays are concentrated and to the edge portion. In addition, the hydrogen output can be increased as the reaction can be induced over the entire area of the carrier.</p> |
