PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplate clutch for a vehicle which reduces drag torque between an inner clutch plate and outer clutch plates at non-engagement more than before.SOLUTION: A clearance is secured between a pair of outer clutch plates 84 and 86 by a disc spring 94, an inner clutch plate 82 is moved to a direction in which the inner clutch plate is separated from the outer clutch plate 86 until the inner clutch plate abuts on a stopper 78e which is arranged at an external peripheral spline tooth 78b of an annular member 78 by a thrust force F, and thereby the inner clutch plate 82 is located between the pair of outer clutch plates 84 and 86 while being separated from the clutch plates at prescribed clearances &Dgr;x1, &Dgr;x2. By this constitution, drag torque between the inner clutch plate 82 and the pair of outer clutch plates 84 and 86 at non-engagement is suitably reduced. |
