PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phthalocyanine compound having a strongly bluish cyan color suitable for a cyan color ink, and exhibiting dissolvability excellent in various types of solvents, and an ink for inkjet containing the compound.SOLUTION: A phthalocyanine compound is synthesized from: a phthalonitrile derivative obtained by bonding a phthalonitrile whose Zto Zin formula (I) are substituted with chlorine with a hydroxybenzoate derivative or a hydroxynaphthoate derivative through an ether bond; and phthalonitrile, in the presence of a zinc salt. |
