PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver capable of automatically changing over a hierarchy when a recorded program is reproduced and also setting the hierarchy changeover method when the reproduction is performed.SOLUTION: A recording and reproduction part 11 records a transport stream and reception sensitivity (a C/N value, etc.) which are to be supplied from a tuner 1 in a hard disk 12 in video-recording, and reads the transport stream and reception sensitivity of a reproduction object program from the hard disk 12 in reproduction. A reception quality determination part 5 determines a hierarchy to be reproduced on the basis of the reception sensitivity and gives a hierarchy selection command to a one-segment/full-segment changeover part 7 thereby to select the hierarchy to be reproduced. |
