<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating fiber that can exhibit a high heat insulating property by having both the advantageous properties of a crosslinked acrylic acid-based fiber that is a highly hygroscopic fiber, and a photothermal converting fiber, which are known as a fiber having heat generating function, that is, both a heat generating function due to hygroscopicity and a heat generating function due to photothermal conversion. <P>SOLUTION: A heat insulating fiber includes: a region of a polymer having functional groups to be dyeing sites; and a region, which is different from the former region, of a polymer having a crosslinking structure and carboxyl group, where the region of the polymer having functional groups to be dyeing sites is dyed with dyes. And the fiber has an average reflectance of 60% or less in a wavelength range of 300 nm to 900 nm, and a saturated moisture absorptivity at 20°C in 65%RH of 15 wt.% or more and 50 wt.% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
