A security door assembly comprising a frame 2, the frame and/or a passive door leaf mounted on the frame (in the arrangement of a double door) having at least one anti-lever security member 4, 5, cooperating with a protrusion on at least one part of at least one perimeter 6 of an active door leaf 3 such that anti-lever security member interlocks with perimeter protrusion upon application of force between the door and frame such as upon insertion of prising tool. Preferably anti-lever member 4, 5 are formed on both vertical sides of the frame with a member extending across the top of the frame and the cooperating door perimeter formation extends the entire length and is formed of a plurality of independently deformable sections. The door frame security member may be a j-shaped hook member. |
