<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve deficiency in beating at start-up and lower a lower limit of a target rotating velocity of a loom. <P>SOLUTION: In an operation control device, an electromagnetic contactor 25 for delta connection and an electromagnetic contactor 26 for star connection receive on-off control of a loom control computer Co, and a loom-driving motor M is electrically connected to a commercial electric source 27 through an inverter 28, and the inverter 28 receives command control of the loom control computer Co, and the loom control computer Co command-controls an output voltage and an output frequency of the inverter 28.
