<p>Provided is a soil-volume reduction method capable of significantly reducing soil volume in comparison to conventional methods. In the present invention, target soil (5) is mixed to a prescribed depth in a prescribed range by rotating a mixing blade (3) of a soil-improving apparatus (1), a disturbed region (6) is formed in the target soil (5), and then a drain (7) is installed in the target soil (5), and by discharging the water content (W) in the target soil (5) from the target soil (5) through the drain (7), it is possible to significantly reduce soil volume by increasing the amount by which the target soil (5) is consolidated.</p> |
