A hair cutting device 1 comprises a turbine 15 and a cooperating shear blade with a first part 22 attached to a housing 10 and a second part 55 in contact with the first part. A flow of air through the device causes the turbine to rotate within the housing, which causes relative motion of the first and second parts of the blade to create a shearing cutting action between them. The second part may be attached to the turbine so that it rotates with the turbine. The device may also comprise a length adjustor 20 that can be attached to the housing to adjust a distance between the blade parts and a front surface of the length adjustor. The device may be adapted for attachment to a vacuum cleaner or may incorporate a vacuum generator. |
