摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a rehabilitation assistive device which assists the rehabilitation of a patient by recognizing conditions of a stroke patient or a patient with disability in the lower extremity using a functional electronic stimulation or ultrasonic waves and actively giving bio-feedback. The rehabilitation assistive device comprises: a functional electrical stimulation unit which is mounted on a muscle or a joint of a patient and stimulates the muscle by applying fine currents to the muscle; a low power ultrasonic wave generating unit outputting ultrasonic waves of 1-3 MHz within an output range of 160-250 mW/cm^2; a sensor unit which is attached to the muscle or the joint of the patient and senses a biological condition of the patient; and a control unit which receives signals of the sensor unit and operates the functional electrical stimulation unit and the low power ultrasonic wave generating unit. The control unit operates the functional electrical stimulation unit when the biological condition of the patient sensed by the sensor unit is in a motion mode and operates the low power ultrasonic wave generating unit when the biological condition of the patient sensed by the sensor unit is in a rest mode, thereby enabling active rehabilitation training capable of improving the plasticity of cerebrum cortex, in charge of operating the lower half of a body, to more rapidly improve a sensory function and a cognitive ability of patients who need rehabilitation for the lower extremity, by simultaneously or selectively applying electrical stimulation or ultrasonic waves according to the biological condition of the patient. In addition, the present invention is capable of providing the definite and active treatment according to the condition of the patient by applying low power ultrasonic waves, helpful for the patient to regain and cure a muscular skeletal function when the patient takes a rest after training.</p>
