摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a wastewater treatment method using a microbial fuel cell to remove the organic matters and nitrogen in the wastewater at the same time. The method includes the steps of: removing a part of the organic matters in the wastewater entering an oxidation reaction chamber of the microorganism fuel cell by the microorganisms attached to an oxidation electrode (step 1); supplying the wastewater partially having the organic matters removed to a membrane reactor (MBR) to remove the organic matters in the wastewater and converting the ammonium nitrogen in the wastewater to nitrate nitrogen (step 2); supplying the wastewater having the nitrate nitrogen to a deoxidizing chamber to reduce the oxygen dissolved in the wastewater (step 3); and supplying the wastewater with reduced dissolved oxygen to a reduction reaction chamber to remove the nitrite nitrogen thereby by the microorganisms attached on a reduction electrode (step 4). The present invention uses the deoxidizing chamber including media therein to reduce the dissolved oxygen, thereby increasing the nitrogen processing efficiency. The present invention also forms the oxidation electrode and a reduction electrode in the form of a grid to significantly extend the area of the electrode area and the membrane area, thereby increasing the efficiency of the microorganism fuel cell. The oxidation electrode and reduction electrode have structures which can be easily stacked to reduce the land area and be easily maintained.</p>
