<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED module whose bezel width can be narrowed and which can embody a uniform linear light source property as a light source of an edge-type BLU, and a backlight unit having the same. <P>SOLUTION: The LED module using one side surface has a bar-type circuit substrate in which at least one groove is formed so as to have a reflection cup, a plurality of LED chips disposed in the groove of the circuit substrate and linearly arrayed along the longitudinal direction of the circuit substrate, and a fluorescent film separated from the LED chips and arranged on the circuit substrate so as to cover the whole groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
