The present invention relates to a method for extracting phenolic acid from Salicornia herbacea L. using ionic liquid-immobilized silica powder. According to the present invention, a method for extracting phenolic acid from Salicornia herbacea L. with a multiphase dispersion-type extraction method using ionic liquid-immobilized silica powder as an adsorbent is capable of increasing an extraction speed as well as enabling phenolic acid extracted from Salicornia herbacea to be maximally adsorbed with only small amount of an extraction solvent by dispersing an adsorbent in an extraction solvent and increasing the surface area of the adsorbent, and having effects in extracting phenolic acid with high yield by using ionic liquid-immobilized silica powder with high selectivity for phenolic acid as the adsorbent.
