<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing sheet glass in which uneven washing of a surface of the sheet glass hardly occurs, and the washing degree can be increased. <P>SOLUTION: At least one glass surface of the sheet glass is washed by rotating a plurality of washing brushes arranged in one direction during conveying of the sheet glass. The respective washing brushes have a plurality of feather brush parts radially extended from a rotation axis and slid to the sheet glass. A distance between rotation axes of the washing brushes and the washing brushes adjacent thereto is shorter than the total of the length from the rotation axis to the end of the feather brush part and the length from the rotation axis of the adjacent washing brush to the end of the feather brush part. The washing brushes are synchronously rotated so that the feather brush parts of the washing brushes are respectively positioned between the feather brush part of the adjacent washing brush and the feather brush part adjacent to the feather brush part on the periphery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
