The application relates to a system (100) for providing a player ranking of a sport in a telecommunication network (108). The system comprising a user device (110) and at least one central device (120) configured to receive (140) player licences (133a) of players (102, 103), who belong to teams (104a, 104b) playing a match against each other, from the user device through the telecommunication network. The player licences are used for identifying the players and for retrieving (142, 144) player information (133b) of the players from a player licence database (122a, 122b). The at least one central device is further configured to send (146) the player information to the user device through the telecommunication network, to receive (150) a player results (151) of the players from the user device through the telecommunication network, the player results are calculated in the user device by means of a match result and the player information, and to create the player ranking on a grounds of the player results and the player information in the player licence database. |
