1. An ink composition comprising:
(a) a solvent; (b) a colorant particle dispersed in the solvent; and (c) a resin component dissolved in the solvent,wherein the colorant particle comprises a polymer particle having an outer surface or a coating comprising a pigment or a dye, and the viscosity of the ink composition at 25° C. is less than about 40 centipoises (cps).
