A composition contains at least one lecithin, at least one urethane and/or isocyanurate catalyst, at least one blowing agent, at least one isocyanate component, and at least one polyol component. The mass ratio of lecithin with respect to polyol component is less than 2.5:100. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) production of rigid polyurethane or polyisocyanurate foams; and (2) method for improving insulation properties of insulation material, insulation board, in-situ foams and insulation foams.
