The present invention related to an image-sound conversion device and a sound conversion method for a visually impaired person thereof, more specifically to an image-sound conversion device and a sound conversion method for a visually impaired person thereof for enabling an output through a device like a speaker by converting an acquired image through a camera to a sound. The image-sound conversion device includes an image acquisition module for acquiring an external image; an image processing unit for dividing acquired information from the image acquisition module by a predetermined method; an analysis unit for analyzing and combining information including information of the divided area according to a predetermined parameter; and a conversion unit for converting information delivered from the analysis unit to sound information by the predetermined method.
