PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of obtaining an image of stable quality, even if a recorded surface of a recording body is deformed due to changes of peripheral environments surrounding the recording body. ! SOLUTION: An image forming device includes: carrying means for carrying a recording medium; image forming means for forming an image on the recording medium carried by the carrying means; distance measuring means for measuring a distance between the recording medium carried by the carrying means and the image forming means; and control means for controlling the image forming means according to a comparison result of a measurement distance measured by the distance measuring means and an expected distance between the recording medium carried by the carrying means and the image forming means. !
