Disclosed are a method and device for modifying an uplink bearer. The method comprises: receiving, by a terminal in a dual connection, a command to change an uplink data sending node, wherein the command to change an uplink data sending node indicates to the terminal to change from sending the uplink data through a first uplink data sending node to sending the uplink data through a second uplink data sending node; sending continuously, by the terminal, some or all uplink data in a buffer area between a radio link control (RLC) layer and a media access control (MAC) layer corresponding to the first uplink data sending node, which already exists in the terminal, through the first uplink data sending node; and emptying, by the terminal, the uplink data in the buffer area between the RLC layer and the MAC layer corresponding to the first uplink data sending node. |
