Systems for optimizing adjustment of automotive side-view mirror assemblies are provided that aid in adjusting the side-view mirrors to reduce blind areas. In general, examples of the systems for optimizing adjustment of automotive side-view mirror assemblies described herein are located on the mirror and the housing. Embodiments of the system generally include a mirror having surface indicia marking a target zone, a housing attached to a vehicle, the housing supporting the mirror; and an alignment guide viewable in the mirror integrated into or attached to the housing. When the alignment guide is visible in the target zone of the mirror, the mirror is optimally adjusted, reducing or eliminating the blind areas normally caused by misadjustment of the side-view mirrors. |
