PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide CXCR1 and/or CXCR2 inhibitors for the preparation of a medicament for use as an adjuvant in the transplant of Langerhans islets in Type 1 diabetes patients.SOLUTION: This invention provides compounds represented by the following formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, where R is linear or branched 4-(C1-C6) alkyl, 4-trifluoromethanesulfonyloxy or 3-benzoyl; and R1 is linear or branched (C1-C6) alkyl.
