PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate sound accompanying deceleration operation without opening to the atmosphere in an intake system of an internal combustion engine having a supercharger.SOLUTION: An intake system 4 of an internal combustion engine 1 including a supercharger 17, comprises: an intake passage 14 supplying air to a combustion chamber 8; a compressor 18 of the supercharger provided in the intake passage 14; an air bypass passage 41 connecting a downstream part 14B of the compressor 18 to an upstream part 14A thereof in the intake passage 14; a bypass valve 42 provided in the air bypass passage 41; and a sound generator 60 disposed between an end portion connected to the upstream part 14A of the compressor 18 in the intake passage 14 and the bypass valve 42 in the air bypass passage 41 and generating sound by passing of the air.
