Methods of and devices for extracting nutrients (such as, proteins, oils, hydrocarbons, antioxidants, organic antibiotics, minerals, and vitamins) from discarded plant wastes (roots, skins, seeds, stalks, leaves, and stems) using grinding and separation processes are provided. The system of the present invention is able to run at steady production state and extract valuable materials from the plant waste for making animal feeds, including cellulosic materials for compost, organic fertilizer, raw materials for the paper industry, and alcohol production. |
