<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, since a generator is warmed to evaporate a refrigerant absorbed by an absorption solution when starting up an absorption refrigeration apparatus, it may take time to warm the generator, supply of a liquid refrigerant to an evaporator may be delayed and a medium to be refrigerated cannot be sufficiently refrigerated.SOLUTION: The absorption refrigeration apparatus includes: the generator which heats a refrigerant absorbed by the absorption solution to generate refrigerant vapor and an absorption solution of low refrigerator concentration; a condenser which is connected to the generator and condenses the refrigerant vapor to produce the liquid refrigerant; the evaporator which evaporates the liquid refrigerant produced by the condenser to refrigerate an object; a refrigerant transportation pipe connected to the condenser and the evaporator and forming a passage in which the refrigerant flows; an absorber which is connected to the evaporator and makes the absorption solution of the low refrigerant concentration absorb the refrigerant vapor to produce an absorption solution of high refrigerant concentration; a first absorption solution transportation pipe and a second absorption solution transportation pipe connected to the generator and the absorber; and a refrigerant buffer tank provided in the refrigerant transportation pipe for storing the liquid refrigerant.</p> |
