PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device which can correct the posture of a sheet when the sheet in a vertical state whose fold is on the upper side and edge is on the lower side is transferred in the vertical direction, and an image formation system.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises a lifter plate 341 which supports a fold of a saddle-stitched booklet from the lower side, holding parts 342, 343, 344, 345 which hold the saddle-stitched booklet supported by the lifter plate 341 from both sides, and a sheet processing control part which executes a first holding operation for making the holding parts hold the saddle-stitched booklet, and a second holding operation for making the holding parts hold the saddle-stitched booklet again after canceling the first holding operation by the holding parts. |
