<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in which: a conventional method requires existence of a handler in program memory space, but this is not always suitable because the program memory space in an embedded system is strictly limited; and the conventional method is not suitable for measuring execution time which requires accuracy, because interruption transit time and processing time of a program code for measurement occur. <P>SOLUTION: In a measuring method for program performance in an embedded system comprising at least address monitoring means 2, a program counter 4 and signal generation means 3, the address monitoring means 2 monitors the program counter 4 and instructs a signal generation part 4 to output a prescribed display signal pattern, when a program code in a prescribed address is executed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
