<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a predetermined function efficiently by implementing the software of control for executing the function of an external electronic apparatus for connection with a main body unit, or user interface control in the external electronic apparatus, and operating the main body unit as an input-output device depending on the function, by changing the control authority.SOLUTION: When power of a main body unit 1 is turned on, power is supplied from the main body unit 1 side to an apparatus (unit) connected thereto, and connection is checked between connection connectors 11, 12 by transmission and reception of predetermined data. Thereafter, a connection apparatus number indicating the apparatus type is received, and the control authority is changed based on the connection apparatus number. When an interchangeable lens unit 2 is connected, control software of the main body unit 1 having authority is started, and the processing of camera function is performed. When an external electronic apparatus 15 is connected, the authority is changed, a control software stored in the storage means 302 of the external electronic apparatus 15 is started, processing of that function is performed, and the main body unit 1 operates as an input-output device.</p> |
