<p>Transporting an NMR sample to the probe head (16) of an NMR spectrometer by means of a transport system (12) including a shuttle device (15). The outer contour is geometrically shaped in such a manner that the shuttle can be used with both a sample spinner with an inserted sample tube and an NMR magic angle spinning (MAS) rotor (5). The shuttle includes locking for the rotor to allow transfer to a MAS probe head. There is also manual actuation of the locking system (6) and indicating means (9) that the shuttle is loaded with the rotor. The same transport system may therefore be used for both spectroscopy of liquids and solids.</p> |
