<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is capable of forming a high quality image, by properly performing the processing for correctly reproducing the image, without depending on the size and layout of a plurality of head parts which are used. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: an image memory 130 for storing an image data; a plurality of LED array drive control units 111-115 for individually controlling the drive of a plurality of LED arrays 101-105 based on the image data; a plurality of data control units 121-125, which are individually connected with the plurality of LED array drive control units 111-115, which access the image memory 130 to read the image data corresponding to the connected LED array drive control units from the image memory 130, and which transfer the read-out image data to the connected LED array drive control units; and an arbiter 140 for arbitrating an access request to the image memory 130 by the plurality of data control units 121-125. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
