In the present invention, there is disclosed a device for localization of ground connection in compensated three-phase high-voltage network, in which a resistor is connected to the center of a transformer secondary winding, parallel to a quenching choke wherein said resistor other end is connected vie a switch to ground. The compensated three-phase high-voltage network is provided on the individual three-phase lines leading to consumers and connected to the transformer secondary winding through the mediation of buses, with ground connection indicators. The device is provided with a control unit that is connected to an input of the resistor-controlled switch. At least one input interface (12, 13, 14) of the control unit (11) is connected to a bus (4) and/or the ground connection indicators (6, 7). The control unit (11) is provided with a block for evaluation of a phase voltage transient characteristic and a command block, whereby the control unit (11) and/or the ground connection indicators (6, 7) are provided with a voltage-measuring device. Method of localization ground connection in the above-described device is characterized in that in case of ground connection occurrence, there are measured in the control unit or in the ground connection indicators initial transient characteristics of phase voltages, the control unit evaluates thereof and determines a type of ground connection. Provided, a low-impedance ground connection is indicated, demonstrative by abrupt growth of phase voltages of unaffected phases and abrupt voltage drop of the affected phase, the control unit locks via its output the closing of the resistor controlled switch, while in case of high-impedance ground connection the control unit does not intervene in the controlled switch normal closing. |
