<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of drawing a brass-plated steel wire, in which degradation of lubricity when drawing the brass-plated steel wire and degradation of ductility of the brass-plated steel wire after the drawing are suppressed without impairing rustproofness of the brass-plated steel wire. <P>SOLUTION: The method for drawing the brass-plated steel wire includes a drawing step of drawing the brass-plated steel wire by using aqueous lubricant. The aqueous lubricant contains no rust-inhibitor, and the rustproofing treatment is performed after the drawing step. The rustproofing treatment is preferably performed so that the surface treatment is applied with acid aqueous solution, and then, by using aqueous solution containing triazole compound. Further, the surface treatment through the super-critical treatment is also preferable, in which the triazole compound is mixed in the solvent for super-critical treatment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
