The present invention relates to an apparatus for setting power of a lamp, which supplies AC power to a primary side of a transformer via a filter and a rectifier, while a microprocessor, receiving DC power from a first tap of a secondary side of the transformer via a constant voltage unit, changes a current value of the primary side of the transformer via a PFC and a switching unit, makes a second tap of the secondary side of the transformer turn on the lamp, composed of a plurality of light emitting diodes, with brightness selected among brightness of 20 W, 30 W, 40 W and 50 W; makes a fan driving recognition unit recognize whether a cooling fan is normally driven while a fan driving unit is driving the cooling fan by the power supplied via the constant voltage unit and, in a case that the fan is not normally driven, informs the microprocessor that the fan is not normally driven and makes the lamp, composed of the light emitting diodes, turned on with minimum brightness of 15 W; and makes the microprocessor, receiving the state of the brightness set with a setting switch while being selected with an up-switch of a remote controller by a user via an infrared transmitting unit and an infrared receiving unit, output a control signal of the brightness selected by the user to the PFC and set the lamp with the selected brightness, thereby fixating the lamp in a state of adjusting the brightness according to the surrounding environment. |
