An electric nail polishing apparatus comprising a main body 1 and detachable heads 13. The main body has means to provide longitudinal oscillatory motion in a drive shaft at the head end. The head has a cavity to receive a protrusion from the main body and the protrusion and cavity have a flat side and a curved side to ensure orientation. The head comprises a landing plate with a nail contact surface and a housing forming the cavity to receive the protrusion from the main body. The head is releasably connected to the drive shaft. The landing plate extends beyond the cavity of the head housing (see Fig 7, 20) and is curved at the tip. Preferably the nail contact surface is suitable for filing, buffing, or polishing. Preferably an intermediate housing may be provided to allow engagement of a cap to cover the head while it is attached. |
