摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device capable of suppressing vibration by effectively absorbing vibration energy caused by deformation of a rectangular frame of an architectural structure by using plastic deformation of a vibration controller arranged inside the rectangular frame.SOLUTION: A vibration controller 11 is arranged inside a rectangular frame of an architectural structure, where four braces for connecting the vibration controller 11 with the rectangular frame extend radially from the controller 11. Vibration energy caused by deformation of the rectangular frame is transmitted to the vibration controller 11 through the braces, and absorbed by plastic deformation of the vibration controller 11. The vibration controller 11 includes: a rectangular or approximately rectangular main body part 15 having four corner parts 15A; and a protrusion part 16 formed at the corner part 15A to protrude from the main body part 15 in the brace's extending direction. The protrusion part 16 includes: a ring-shaped part 16A to which the brace is connected; and a connection part 16B for connecting the ring-shaped part 16A with the main body part 15. The connection part 16B is deformed while changing the width dimension of the connection part 16B, when the main body part 15 is deformed by vibration energy while changing an angle of the corner part 15A.</p>
