<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beam control cover for a lighting fixture that can restrain glare while securing luminous flux in a light-distribution direction and improve transmittance of beams while attaining its thinning. <P>SOLUTION: A cover 10 having light transmittance is mounted on a lower face 6 of an opening of the lighting fixture 1 and beams from a light source 4 of the lighting fixture 1 is made incident to an incident surface of the cover 10 and the incident beams is emitted from an emitting surface of the cover 10, to be called the beam control cover. Curved sections 20 with cross-section roughly elliptical shapes are arranged on the incident surface of the cover 10 by being continuously connected in a line, and tapered projected sections 30 are arranged on the emitting surface of the cover 10 in a line. Leakage preventive treatment for the beams is applied to at least peripheral surfaces 11, respectively, of the plurality of the projected sections 30 among the peripheral surface of the cover 10, the peripheral surfaces of the plurality of curved sections 20 and the plurality of the projected sections 30, and the beams are made emitted from tip surfaces 33 of the respective projected sections 30 while the plurality of curved sections 20 and the plurality of projected sections 30 are made faced to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
